Taylor ISD is happy to offer some of the most competitive benefits in the state of Texas. Our goal is to allow all of our employees various options that fit the needs of their families. All new employees to TISD will receive information regarding TISD benefits during their new hire orientation. Each new employee will have 30 days from their date of hire to complete the benefit enrollment using the Benefit Hub website.Should a new employee choose not to enroll within the initial 30-day sign-up, the next opportunity will be during the next Annual Open Enrollment. There will not be any changes made to benefits after our annual open enrollment closes unless you have a qualifying life event (example, change in marital status, dependent status, court order, loss of coverage due to age out or loss of job etc.).
The following benefits are paid by the district for eligible employees:
- Critical Illness- $5,000 plan for the employee
- Basic Life-$10,000 policy for the employee
- MD Live/Telehealth- 24/7 access to board certified doctors via telephone or video for employees and qualifying family members
- Employee Assistance Plan- professional assistance on a wide range of issues in the areas of life, health, family, work, and finance for employees and qualifying family members.
