Gifted and Talented

  • At Taylor ISD, our Gifted and Talented (G/T) students will receive services that will allow them to demonstrate skills in self-directed learning, thinking, research, and communication as evidenced by the development of innovative products and performances that reflect individuality and creativity and are advanced in relation to students of similar age, experience or environment.

G/T students in elementary grades receive both inclusion support from their classroom teachers as well as pull-out.  In Middle School and High School, GT students are enrolled in either Advanced Place and/or Honors courses.
