Taylor HS Graduation 2025: What you need to know
Graduation is a major milestone in the lives of our students and their families, and Taylor ISD is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2025! To help you prepare for this exciting event, we’ve outlined everything you need to know about the ceremony, including parking, shuttle service, livestream details, and contingency plans in case of inclement weather.
Ceremony Details
Date: Friday, May 23, 2025
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Taylor HS Stadium
Senior Arrival Time: Seniors must report to the Athletic Field House no later than 6 p.m.
Livestream Information
The Taylor HS graduation ceremony will be livestreamed on the Taylor ISD Hudl channel beginning at 7 p.m. You can tune in at this link.
Parking & Shuttle Service
To help with the flow of traffic and ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please follow the parking guidelines below:

Student Parking: Seniors should park in the baseball/softball lot next to the field house or be dropped off at the field house entrance.

Guest Parking: Each graduate’s family and/or friends are asked to limit parking to two vehicles or fewer at the stadium. Carpooling is highly encouraged.
- Shuttle Service Available: For additional guests, a free shuttle service will run continuously between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. from First Baptist Church, 2500 Mallard Lane, Taylor, TX. Buses will also be available after the ceremony to return guests to their vehicles. Shuttles will be lined up outside the stadium and will run until everyone has been transported back.

Guests may park in the green areas. Vehicles are NOT allowed to drive in the areas marked in red.
For Parents, Guardians, & Graduates
We will have mandatory graduation practice at 9 a.m. on May 20 and May 22 so that we are able to familiarize the students with all ceremony procedures.
Dress Code for Graduates
Graduation is a formal event, and we would like our graduates to be properly dressed for the occasion. Below is a list of dress code expectations for the ceremony.
- Graduates should wear dress pants, khakis/chinos, dresses or skirts. No blue denim jeans
- Be cautious of high-heeled shoes on unpaved walking surfaces
- Dress shoes or dress boots are preferred. (shoe attire should be appropriate for occasion)
- No shorts, flip-flops, Crocs or athletic shoes
- Students may decorate caps with (College/University, Trade/Technical, Grad year, Family Name)
- Students may wear a personal stole (Must be approved by admin prior to ceremony)
Proper Conduct
Participation in the Commencement Ceremony is a privilege, not a right. Students are not permitted to bring any items to the ceremony (ex: horns, beach balls, laser pointers, noisemakers, etc.). If a student behaves inappropriately during the ceremony, the student can be removed.
Inclement Weather Plan
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be rescheduled to Saturday, May 24 at 10 a.m. Any weather-related updates will be communicated promptly to allow families time to adjust their plans.
