Taylor ISD teams up with 98.5 KRXT to broadcast Duck sports across Central Texas
Taylor ISD is excited to announce a new partnership with 98.5 KRXT to broadcast Taylor Ducks varsity sports on KRXT’s digital streaming platforms and radio station, expanding access to fans throughout the community and beyond.
Starting this fall, fans will be able to stream varsity football, boys and girls basketball, baseball, softball, and performances by the Taylor High School Band from their preferred platforms or by tuning in to 98.5 FM.
“This is an exciting opportunity for our school community,” said Taylor ISD Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Garcia-Edwardsen. “This partnership helps keep our community connected and involved with our student-athletes and performers, from any place at any time. We’re excited to broaden access to all the incredible things happening across our district.”
The partnership brings Taylor ISD sports to a growing audience, with KRXT’s digital presence boasting over 63,000 downloads, 155,000 monthly website visits, and 200,000 social media interactions.
“We are proud to present TISD as part of our local high school sports programming,” said Steve Steve Laukhuf with KRXT. “The overwhelming support by the community of Taylor for the athletic program is in good hands with the Cowboy Broadcasting Network. As part of our coverage of Taylor Athletics, we will be doing additional programming on both our stream and on 98.5 KRXT FM. Listen in for more details on all things Taylor Ducks this fall.”
In addition to game broadcasts, KRXT is offering a limited-time sponsorship opportunity for local businesses. The first 20 sponsors to sign up will receive an exclusive rate of $100/month through May 31, 2026, which includes:
-
Multiple commercials during each game
