Coordinator of TOC
-
My name is Shawn Lance, and I'm excited to join Taylor ISD as the Coordinator of TOC for the 2025-2026 school year.
I bring 17 years of experience in education, including 6 years in school administration as both an Assistant Principal and a Head of High School. I’m proud to be returning to Taylor ISD, where I previously taught at Legacy ECHS from 2012 to 2018, to continue serving our students and community.
At TOC, we recognize that every student's path is different. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where each learner can explore their interests, achieve academic growth, and develop personally in ways that work best for them. We're committed to flexible learning strategies, personalized attention, and fostering a sense of belonging for all our students.
I am deeply committed to ensuring that every student graduates not only with a diploma but also with a clear plan for their future, whether that means pursuing a career, attending college, or joining the military. Helping young people take their next step with confidence and purpose is at the heart of my work.
Together, we'll work to make these crucial years a time of self-discovery, skill-building, and preparation for whatever future our students envision for themselves. I'm eager to bring my experience and passion to our school community.
I look forward to meeting each of you and learning how we can best support your educational journey.
S. Lance
