Main Street Elementary Families,

My name is Kerri Pierce and I will be serving as the principal of Main Street Elementary.  This will be my second year in Taylor ISD and my 6th year as a campus principal.  I truly feel like I have the best job, and I can’t wait for the 23-24 school year!

As we embark on the opening of Main Street Elementary and transitioning to a 1st-5th grade campus, I want you to know that we have been hard at work planning to make your child’s transition an easy one.  It is a priority for us to make sure your child has an exceptional experience at MSE, one that challenges them academically, grows them emotionally, and allows them to explore their interests.

So that you and your child feel prepared for the first day, I encourage you to attend our parent orientation on August 1st at 6 p.m. in the Events Center.  I will provide you with all the information you need to begin the school year, and you will also be able to tour the campus.  If you are unable to attend, there will be video sent out with all the information as well.

Please be sure that you complete online registration for your child at www.taylorisd.org.  This must be done each year.

Mark your calendar for Meet the Teacher! It will be held on August 8th.  We ask that you arrive at the time according to your last name to avoid huge crowds and long waits.
