Thank you to Michele Glaze and all our friends at Samsung for their generous donation of $110,000 to fund a pre-engineering discovery program entitled Project Lead the Way (PLTW). PLTW will empower students in grades 4, 5 and 6 to adopt a design-thinking mindset through compelling activities, projects and problems that build upon each other and relate to the world around them. PLTW will provide extensions from math, arts and science to direct hands-on experiences in computer science, engineering and biomedical science. Students will learn to become creative, collaborative problem solvers ready to take on any challenge.
