Invest in Your Future: Taylor ISD & UMHB Partnership for Career Growth
As we explore opportunities to support the growth and retention of our team, we’d like to introduce you to our partnership with the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB). UMHB offers a flexible format with six, 7-week terms, allowing you to earn a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership. Upon enrolling, you will be paired with a success coach who will guide you throughout your journey until you complete your degree.
As a partner, UMHB will waive the application fee for our employees and remove the requirement for a minimum of 12 transferable semester credit hours. They will also assist you with the financial aid process as needed. Additionally, remember that Taylor ISD offers tuition reimbursement for all full-time paraprofessionals.
-
Our Employee Tuition Reimbursement program covers up to $100 per credit hour (with a maximum of $1,000 per school year) for full-time paraprofessionals pursuing educational advancement. Reimbursement is available for undergraduate courses that result in a grade of C or better and are part of a degree program.
UMHB is located in Belton, but online students have full access to all the benefits of being a UMHB student, just as if you were attending on campus. They will provide our district with information sessions and are available for one-on-one consultations if needed.
Now is a great time to begin or complete your degree!
