Hello! My name is Sarah Stresing and this is my 8th year in Taylor. I will be teaching Algebra 1, and Pre-AP/Honors Geometry. I really enjoy teaching math and have taught everything from Algebra 1 to Geometry to Algebra 2. I have also been coaching tennis for the last 5 years. My husband and I have a son who just turned 2 and are expecting baby sister in November. We have really enjoyed watching our son grow over the last two years and we are excited to see him become a big brother. I know this school year holds a lot of uncertainties but I am looking forward to a great school year! This year will be a learning curve for ALL of us so please reach out if you have ANY concerns. During the 2020-2021 school year, students will be able to access all of their online materials and assignments through Google Classroom and ALEKS. Links to all websites and applications will be accessed through ClassLink. If you need help accessing ClassLink, Google Classroom, or ALEKS, please reach out to me at sstresing@taylorisd.org.

 

Please feel free to reach out to me at ANY time but I will have office hours everyday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. During this time I will be available to respond to emails, answer any phone calls, and answer any questions you might have. This is a new experience for ALL of us, so please reach out to me if you have ANY questions

I will have DAILY LIVE tutorials for any and all students. Monday will be mostly informational and finishing up work from the previous week. The rest of the week will be help with daily assignments as well as ALEKS assignments. We will use the same link (copied below) for all of our tutorial session. Just simply click on the link and join us for as many tutorial sessions as you can! The more I can see your face the better I can help you with your work. Please try to attend when you can, especially if you are having trouble with any of the assignments.
