Kim Clifton

Assistant Girls Track Coach, Special Olympics Head of Delegation

Bio

  • I am a Certified Adapted Physical Educator with my Masters of Kinesiology degree from Texas Woman's University. I received my Bachelors in Education from McMurry University. I began my teaching career in the classroom before learning about the wonderful occupation of adapted physical education. I have been in that field for 18 years now. I am also a coach at Taylor High School (assistant track coach) and am Head of Delegation for our East Williamson County Cooperative Special Olympics team, the Comets. I absolutely LOVE my job and enjoy the students I get to work with. On the personal side, I rescue pugs that are my world and enjoy any activity that will make me smile and laugh.

Kim was nominated as the EWCC Distinguished Service Award Recipient in May 2013.

Home

  • Welcome to my page! I am Shelli Cobb, and I am starting my sixteenth year here at Taylor ISD! I grew up playing basketball and running cross country and track in the panhandle, so it was natural that I would go into coaching and teaching. After graduating from Texas Tech University, I began my career in Lubbock, Texas teaching English and coaching. Currently, I teach English IV at Taylor High School, coach cross country and track, and am the Women's Athletic Coordinator for the district. As if that is not enough to keep me busy, I am also the wife of Brian Cobb and mother of 8th grader, Clayton and 5th grade twins Conner and Tyler. I absolutely love being a Duck and feel so fortunate to work with the children of this community.
